DTG vs DTF Care Differences

DTG prints are absorbed directly into the fabric fibers rather than sitting on top like DTF transfers. This means they're generally more durable but still need specific care to maintain those vibrant psychedelic colors in your designs.

FIRST WASH (CRITICAL!): • Turn shirt inside out • Wash in COLD water (30°C/86°F max) • Use mild detergent - NO bleach • Wash with similar colors • Gentle cycle recommended

ONGOING CARE: • Always wash inside out • Cold water wash cycles • Air dry preferred OR tumble dry LOW heat • Iron inside out on medium heat if needed • Avoid direct iron contact with print

AVOID THESE: ❌ Hot water (fades DTG inks) ❌ Bleach or oxygen bleach ❌ High heat drying (cracks print) ❌ Ironing directly on print ❌ Dry cleaning solvents
